The story of Cristo Rey is the story of its people. It is a story of courageous struggle in adversity, the strength found in deep roots of faith and culture, and great achievements against the odds. As the only parish in our city dedicated to serving the needs of the Hispanic community, we stand on the shoulders of the early founders and pastors who built the church with great physical sacrifice. But more importantly, Cristo Rey is continually being built with the living stones of the dedicated followers of Christ who give their all to our community. Viva Cristo Rey!

La historia de Cristo Rey es la historia de su gente. Es la historia de una lucha valiente en medio de la adversidad, de una fuerza centrada en raíces profundas en la fe y en nuestras culturas, y en grandes logros, contra las apuestas. Como la única parroquia dedicada al servicio de la comunidad hispana en nuestra ciudad, nos apoyamos sobre los hombros de nuestros primeros fundadores y pastores quienes edificaron nuestra iglesia con mucho sacrificio económico. Pero lo que es más importante, la Iglesia Cristo Rey se edifica constantemente con las piedras vivas que son los seguidores fieles de Jesucristo que rinden su todo a nuestra comunidad. ¡Viva Cristo Rey!
