Cross Music Studio

Caia Cross is a cellist and music teacher specializing in the education of beginning to intermediate violin and viola students and beginning to advanced cello students. Based out of Louisville, KY, Caia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education as well as in Cello Performance from Miami University under the tutelage of Professor Pansy Chang.

Currently in her fifth year teaching middle school and high school orchestra in Jeffersontown, KY, Caia's string ensembles received high ratings at the annual Kentucky Music Educator's Association District Orchestra Assessment as well as at the Solo and Ensemble competition. Many students have also been accepted into the Jefferson County Public Schools All County Orchestras.

With over 10 years of private music teaching experience, a number of Caia's students have been accepted into the Floyd County Youth Orchestra, received superior ratings at solo and ensemble competitions, and earned a music scholarship to attend Eastern Kentucky University to study cello performance.

Caia recently performed with Josh Groban and Trans-Siberian Orchestra during their tour stops in Louisville and Indianapolis. She was also an original founding member of the rock/pop string trio, Electria. She currently lives in Prospect, KY with her husband, Jon; two dogs, Brutus and Katy; and the new love of her life, her baby boy, Henry.
