At CrossFit Amundson, our goal is to “Educate and Inspire” you to make fitness a part of your life. We believe in a holistic approach to fitness, with an emphasis on developing strength in the Mind, Body and Spirit.

Greg Amundson is the owner and Head Coach at CrossFit Amundson. With the exception of CrossFit Inc., founder “Coach” Greg Glassman, nobody in the world has been teaching CrossFit for as long as Greg Amundson. Greg’s contributions in developing the CrossFit brand and lifestyle have been chronicled in the bestselling books "Inside The Box" and "Learning To Breathe Fire." Greg has been described by his peers as the “Original CrossFit Firebreather” and a “CrossFit Ambassador.” Greg was mentored in CrossFit by Coach Glassman for nearly seven years, and has been teaching and training CrossFit for nearly fifteen years.

From the moment you walk in the door of CrossFit Amundson, you sense you are in a special place. Love, support and kindness are the key ingredients of the gym. Our gym follows Coach Glassman’s original intention for the development of an Athlete: Mechanics, Consistency and then Intensity. We pride ourselves in providing a high degree of Education – teaching the foundational CrossFit skills in an encouraging atmosphere. Our Coaches also provide Inspiration – having undergone an extensive internship program with Greg Amundson, our Coaching philosophy is leadership by example, and selfless service to our Community of Athletes.
