Croton Karate

Croton Karate is a traditional Karate dojo steeped in traditional values of respect, hard work and integrity. Our tagline "We don't buy our belts, we earn them" refers to the fact we do not charge testing fees for any colored belts. We believe to keep the integrity of our art one must only work hard to get to the next level. Too often, we see martial arts becoming a money making scheme where students will continue to advance as long as the belts are paid for regardless of skill. Our Dojo family takes teaching self defense seriously. Sensei Peter Doherty knows all his students by name and teaches every class. We are not merely a Karate School, we are a family.
