Located in the heart of Greenwich Village, the iconic neighborhood eatery Da Silvano was long a favorite haunt of celebrities, perfectly situated on 6th Avenue with a large sidewalk cafe perfect for people-watching. Chef and owner Silvano Marchetto was at the helm of the operation from the day he opened in May 1975, to the day he (sadly) was forced to close due to the high rise of operating costs, in December 2016.
