Dance Ltd

Dance Ltd was founded in 1986 by Sandra Bearman and is located at 2604 Lower Huntington Road in Fort Wayne, IN. In 2012 LaLinda Myers, a former student of Sandra took over as owner.

Dance Ltd has eight instructors that are committed to providing a quality education for both the recreational and competitive dancer in a positive environment while costumes, music and moves are all age-appropriate.

Dance Ltd provides a safe environment for students to build a positive self-image by encouraging the students to work hard in class. The students gain strength and flexibility in their bodies through the different dance disciplines. They also build friendships with fellow dance mates through teamwork. With the help of a caring and professional staff, students set goals that build confidence and character when successfully achieved.

Dance Ltd performance team (Midwest in Motion) has been an Indiana representative to the Dance Excellence International Festival held in Los Angeles, CA in 2000 and 2005. The staff and students look forward to this opportunity to share the passion for dance with students from around the world again in the near future.

A number of alumni students have gone on to study and perform dance in college, dance for NBA and AFL teams and tour nationally and internationally with recording artists.

Dance Ltd offers classes for students age 3 through adults in the disciplines of CREATIVE MOVEMENT, TAP, JAZZ, BALLET, CLOGGING, HIP HOP & LYRICAL.

Dance Ltd knows that dance lessons are life lessons: building character, respect, poise, discipline and confidence.
