DarlingBeams is located in Dunkirk, MD. We offer handcrafted, 100% natural products. Our soy products differ from those made with other standard waxes, in that they are a natural, made from soybeans, burn cleanly and are non-toxic to people and pets. You're also supporting your local farmers, as they are the ones who produce this wonderful resource for us! Several years ago, we were looking for an alternative to the sooty, chemical candles made from paraffin and other waxes. We wanted the lovely fragrances in our home, but we did not want to risk our own health or that of our animals (we have dogs & exotic pets) so burning paraffin was out of the question. Soy wax had just made its debut and that was our answer! We began making products for ourselves and realized that others should benefit, as well.

There are many choices of candles, melts and other wax products in the marketplace. However, not every one made from soy is truly a 100% natural product. Do your homework and know what you are buying. Our wax contains no blends and no additives, so when we say that they are safe and healthy for you, your animals and the environment, we mean it. You may also notice some inconsistencies in your candles - sometimes a slightly caved area around the wick, or some "frosting" around the wax inside the jar. This is indicative that a 100% soy wax was used in your candle and something that true, soy candle enthusiasts actually look for! Our products are not only safe, but they smell fantastic! Each one has lovely cold (unlit) and warm (lit/melted) throws, we know you will be pleased.

We also offer Create-A-Beam�. During our testing phases, a recurring theme was, "I love the lavender smell, but I wouldn't buy that candle or melt." Of course, we had to ask, "Why?" Their answer was that although they loved the smell, the color did not fit with the decor of their home. This gave us a great idea! Look around, and you'll notice that there are few companies who offer candles or melts to fit your wants and needs. At DarlingBeams, your wish is our command!
