Some medical injuries don’t require a visit to the hospital emergency room. That’s why Delano Regional Medical Center established the Delano Urgent Care.
The Delano Urgent Care is staffed and equipped to evaluate and treat medical illnesses and injuries that need punctual attention but are not life threatening. Experienced clinical staff are on hand to assess and treat problems such as the flu and colds, cuts, sore throats, earaches, sprains and other minor injuries.
The Delano Urgent Care does not provide ongoing primary care. Instead, they treat patients who temporarily do not have a primary care physician, are unable to reach their doctor, or need urgent care without an appointment and after regular office hours. Patients with life-threatening illnesses should call 9-1-1 or seek care right away at the nearest Emergency Room.
