Doctors Of Vision

The year was 1987. Gregory Chin was a kid. A kid with a dream to be an optometrist and own a private practice. So he busted some books. Hard. He was soon named the valedictorian of his high school class. Then he was accepted to optometry school -- even before earning his bachelor’s degree. While in optometry school, he received a rare triple clinical honors, and was accepted for a sought-after externship at the world-renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He was the second-youngest doctor to graduate from his optometry class. He also married his college honey, Duanne (Duey).

One Valentine’s Day 10+ years ago, this romantic duo had worked and saved up just enough to buy a struggling optical. They renamed it Doctors Of Vision. Back up for a minute...when I say worked, I mean that Greg saw patients 7 days a week for 18 months, and Duey freelanced at three ad agencies simultaneously. Did I mention that we are total romantics?!

After years of building up a reputation for thorough eye exams and a loyal patient base, the little office could not keep up. So naturally, we took over an old abandoned night club. After we took down the disco ball (not kidding), we picked new everything. I saw 3 very similar shades of sand-colored paint. We picked the most awesome one. But seriously, we have put a lot of energy and time to put together that kid’s dream office. It is furnished with more of the same high-tech equipment to give you those thorough eye exams that you are used to, and a custom-designed setting to select your attractive eyewear.
