Dr. Debra Webb

I was born and raised in Laurinburg, North Carolina and introduced to Optometry by a summer job in my family optometrist’s office during high school. Before graduating the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Biology, I spent more time in that office as Front Desk Reception, Insurance Billing Agent, Optical Assistant, and Optometric Technician. I cultivated an interest in the eyes and a love for patient care. I attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee and graduated with a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1997.

I started my own private practice in Laurinburg, and was privileged to care for patients in my hometown. However, I was called to the coast by everything “Carolina Beach”…boating, golfing, the sun and the sand, the music and the Shag. My husband and I moved to North Myrtle Beach in 2003 with our family of cats. I practiced Optometry with a group in South Carolina until happily joining Vision Square Eye Care in 2007. With friends and family in the area, I enjoy my practice in this Brunswick County community. I welcome new patients, and enjoy seeing those who are returning to my care. While practicing primary vision and eye health care, I especially enjoy Contact Lenses and Senior Care.

I am licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina and an active member of the American Optometric Association, the North Carolina State Optometric Society and its local Southeastern District. I participate as a member of the Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce and support local school, civic and church groups.
