East Brewton Church of God

East Brewton Church of God is a Pentecostal church, Church of God, Cleveland, TN. We believe the move of the Holy Spirit that was in operation during the day of Pentecost is still in effect today.

During our time of worship, you should expect to see the gifts of the Spirit in operation (wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophesy, speaking in tongues, and interpretation of tongues). We believe the Bible. Psalm 47 – “clap your hands, all ye people;” 1 Chronicles 16 – “Sing unto Him, sing psalms unto Him,” Psalm 134 – “Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.” Psalm 150 – “Praise Him upon the loud cymbals; praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.” and Psalm 46 – “Be still and know that I am God:”. God is the god of loud praise and quiet times. Any of these acts of worship can be appropriate during worship time.

We also believe Jesus when He said, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.” (Luke 6:38) During worship time, we will bring our tithes and offerings to the front of the sanctuary to give to the Lord.
