More about East Cobb Civic Association

Established in 1982, the East Cobb Civic Association (ECCA) represents almost 90 subdivisions and has a number of individual members from throughout East Cobb County. ECCA is a forum for neighborhoods to hear from representatives of government and community organizations on important issues.

As a coalition representing the interests of the entire community, ECCA has been instrumental in shaping county government policy and decision-making to improve the quality life not only in East Cobb, but throughout the county.

New members, whether individuals or those representing subdivisions or homeowners’ associations, are welcome and encouraged to join at any time during the year, with no late payment penalties.

The ECCA Board and members influence the Cobb County government’s decisions, initiatives, and zoning and variance rulings that impact East Cobb communities.

Through their participation, ECCA members are kept aware of important votes, meetings and issues, and are encouraged to be active in voicing their support or concerns.

General membership meetings in 2016 are held the last Wednesday of each month, except for November and December, which are combined as a special planning meeting scheduled for December 14 (new date).

Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and are held at the East Cobb Government Service Center, 4400 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, unless otherwise noted.

Please refer to the website for more information and membership application.
