Opened in 2014, El Sol Restaurante & Tequileria in Washington, DC has been serving authentic Mexican cuisine inspired by the heritage of chef Alfredo Solis and his sister, Jessica. The two siblings, born and raised in Mexico City, opened El Sol to share the cuisine of their homeland. Favorites include Huaraches (corn flour flatbreads stuffed with cactus, fresh cheeses, and meats),Tortas y Tacos.
