Emmanuel Church, Weatherford, TX

The "now" of Emmanuel Church is that we are a humble group of redeemed sinners who serve and worship Christ. There is a place for all to believe and belong.
Short History: Emmaunuel Church is a "young" 50-plus year-old church. We were in our previous location (where the new Aldi's sits) for a very long time, and we saw a lot of change from that vantage point. We went through an intentional-interim period to learn from our past and seek God's will for our future.
We believe that this time of self scrutiny and humble seeking after God has resulted in the Emmanuel Church of today. Through circumstances that only God could arrange, this body is infused with young families, a thriving college ministry and places for all ages to belong and serve Christ.
It is clear to us that God is still at work, and we seek only to be led by Him as we go forward into the plans He has for us in the Kingdom.
