Veteran instructor with extensive experience in the fields of law enforcement, counter-terrorism tactical operations and training. Twenty-three years of domestic law enforcement experience including patrol, Nineteen years as an investigator, 18 years in SWAT, and retiring in 2003 with 5 years as detective supervisor. Extensive international experience as a Department of State and Department of Defense contract trainer/mentor to the following countries: Afghanistan, Bosnia, Iraq, Albania, Bahrain, Georgia, Indonesia, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Macedonia, Montenegro, Nigeria, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Tanzania. NRA certified in pistol and rifle, and certified instructor for Idaho and Utah concealed carry permit.

Served in a variety of positions including instructor, lead instructor, mentor, team leader, and management . Specialized experience and training include sniper operations and training, operations team mentor/advisor for counter terrorism and counter narcotics investigations, mentor and trainer for extractions and surveillance teams, supervision of terrorist location and identification investigations. Topics of instruction include firearms training, close quarters combat, interrogation, surveillance, sniper surveillance operations, extraction, course development specialized for each presentation and training group with specialized training in firing ranges, live fire training and small unit tactics. Specific firearms instruction and training tailored to host country with emphasis on Glock 17- Glock 19 Beretta 92-f, M-16 Weapons system (including AR-15/ M-4/M-6 ), AK -47 Weapons systems, AR-10 Sniper system and Remington 700, .308, Remington 870 shotgun. Developed curriculum and conducted training based on needs and skill levels of host nations. Specialist in SWAT training using live fire and live exercise training culminating in mentoring and supervision in actual missions and operations for the host country. Conducted post operations evaluations and unit needs from battlefield conditions, modifying training based on operational needs exposed in the field.
