Evadale is a census-designated place (CDP) in Jasper County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,430 at the 2000 census. The population gained a 3.8% growth as of the June 2010 census, with 1,483 residents.GeographyEvadale is located at .According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 17.7sqmi, of which, 17.0sqmi of it is land and 0.7sqmi of it is water.DemographicsAs of the census of 2000, there were 1,430 people, 537 households, and 407 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 83.9 people per square mile (32.4/km²). There were 591 housing units at an average density of 34.7 per square mile (13.4/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 98.95% White, 0.07% Native American, 0.42% from other races, and 0.56% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.82% of the population.There were 537 households out of which 36.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.2% were married couples living together, 8.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.2% were non-families. 20.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.66 and the average family size was 3.10.
