Faithway Baptist Church

Faithway Baptist Church was born in the heart of Pastor Michael Edwards, the pastor of Heritage Baptist Church in Woodbridge, Virginia. A church planter himself, Pastor Edwards has always had a burden to reach northern Virginia for Christ.

Upon hearing of the need for an independent Baptist church in Loudoun County from Pastor Edwards, Barnabas Schwanke and his wife Elizabeth conducted a survey trip to the area where the Lord confirmed in their hearts that Loudoun was where God wanted them to plant a church.

The people of Heritage Baptist Church graciously agreed to be the reproducing church and have supported the establishment of Faithway Baptist Church since its first service on March 16th, 2008.

God blessed us with 131 people in attendance for this big day. While we are excited about what has been done in the past, we look forward to the future knowing that there is much to accomplished here in Loudoun County.
