Firefly Charger

ABOUT THE PROJECT: The Firefly Charger is personal kit designed to provide first electricity to the 20% of the world still in the dark. Firefly Chargers will be sold to Third World villagers, but they will be financed through the sales of Firefly Chargers in the US and with capital raised from equity investors. For example, a $35 kit may be financed to a villager over 2 years, resulting in a $1.50 per month payment. Third World villagers can use a Firefly Charger a personal lantern, to charge small electrical devices, or to charge their neighbors' devices for a fee. US citizens can use Firefly Chargers to “turn their devices solar” or take their devices off the grid. This project works in direct support of Christian missions.
