Foothill HS Band

The Foothill Band Department consists of two concert/symphonic bands, two jazz ensembles, pep band, indoor drum line, color guard, and an award winning marching band. The concert and jazz ensembles consistently receive Superior Ratings at music festivals and the Falcon Marching Band is the largest competitive marching band in Nevada. These ensembles have performed on the world famous Las Vegas Strip at Bally's, Paris, Mandalay Bay, Caesar's Palace, and the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Foothill Marching Band is the first ever Nevada band to place in the Finals at multiple Bands of America Regional Championships in the same year. In 2009, the Foothill Band marched in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Dublin, Ireland. Additionally, the Foothill Drum Line is the first group from Nevada to reach the Finals in the Winter Guard International World Percussion Championships in Dayton, Ohio. The Foothill Band is one of only four ensembles in the United States chosen to receive and test new marching percussion equipment from the Tama Drum Company.
