We are a community education program serving children ages birth to 5 and their families. Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) classes are designed to support today's families. At ECFE we believe that parents are a child's first and most important teacher. Parents and children participate in weekly classes together.
Family Center teachers use a play based developmentally appropriate curriculum. We believe that young children learn best when they can explore their world with all of their senses. Activities and experiences are designed to help children discover learning in all areas of development.
All ECFE classes are taught by our professional and dedicated staff. All teachers are licensed by the Minnesota Board of Teaching and hold, at minimum, a bachelor's degree.
Some ECFE classes are integrated with Early Childhood Special Education. Sibling care is available for all daytime classes. Classes begin in September, and run for 27 weeks, ending in May. For more information, call 651-982-8300.
