Welcome to the Publix Fort Lauderdale A1A Marathon & Half Marathon Facebook page! Our event is the ultimate winter destination event. While the rest of the country is dealing with the winter, we enjoy sunny weather in the mid 70s! The course features miles of unobstructed ocean views. We run along State Road A1A, hence the name of our event. In addition to our renowned beachfront course we are also know for our signature finisher medals. In fact, our 2010 medal was voted best in North America, while our 2011 medal received a #3 vote. Each year we offer a unique beach themed design.
