Galyn's

Galyn's was established in 1986 by the Leiser family with a definite purpose: to offer reasonably priced, well-prepared foods, served by a friendly, professional staff in a comfortable atmosphere.
The Galyn's building dates back to the 1880's when it was built as a boarding house for local seafarers. An illegal speakeasy occupied the downstairs during the prohibition era, and some say a gambling casino was hidden in the back as well.
Today, Galyn's features five pleasant dining rooms on the first and second floors. Take a stroll around and enjoy our collection of original artwork.
Tucked upstairs you'll find the cozy Galley Lounge which was created by local craftsmen using materials salvaged from island landmarks and estates.
