Looking for a great, family friendly festival? You've found it! Abbeville's Giant Omelette Celebration is an "eggcelent" time for all ages! Great Music, hot delicious cajun food, antique cars & farm implements, egg cracking contest, kids world, and lots of unique arts & crafts fill the town square in this quaint southern town in the heart of Cajun Country.

This 2 day festival kicks off on the first Saturday of November at 8:00 AM with a charity walk through Historic Downtown Abbeville, followed by music from many great Cajun and French performers and lots of festival fun!

Abbeville's Magdalen Square, with its majestic oaks and old fashioned gazebo, is the setting for the 2 day Arts & Craft Show featuring unique hand made items for everyone.

On Sunday, grab your a seat for the early afternoon procession of chefs, eggs and bread to the Giant 12 foot skillet where fun and follie are the order of day for those preparing the "5000 Egg" Giant Omelette.
