Gilbertsville Area Community Ambulance Service

Gilbertsville Area Community Ambulance Service is here to provide Emergency Ambulance Service to the residents of Douglass Township, New Hanover Township and Upper Pottsgrove Township along with assisting surrounding EMS agencies in their calls for mutual aid. We presently have three Paramedic Ambulances and a Special Services Rehab truck to provide service 24hrs per day. GACAS has a community outreach program which specializes in First Aid/CPR/AED and first responder education/training partnered with Lehigh Valley Hospital Network and Jefferson Hospital. We also have a volunteer program/career program and are always looking for professional volunteers and we also provide programs for new EMT's/Paramedics starting out in the EMS Field.
We are proud to be associated with Gilbertsville Fire Rescue,Gilbertsville Fire Company #1, New Hanover Fire Company and Upper Pottsgrove Fire Company and an active member of Douglass Township Emergency Service Board.
