Girls on the Run Berks

Girls on the Run® is a life-changing, experiential learning program for girls aged eight to thirteen years old. The program creatively integrates running into a 12-week curriculum that includes lessons on self-esteem, peer pressure, working as part of a team and giving back to the community. The program culminates in a 5K running event.

The goals of GOTR are to encourage positive emotional, social, mental, spiritual, and physical development. Girls on the Run empowers girls to believe in themselves, to live a fit and healthy lifestyle, to make wise decisions, to avoid at-risk activities, and to give back to the community.

There are two different age-appropriate curriculums:
Girls on the Run is designed for girls in 3rd through 5th grades.
Heart & Sole is designed for girls in 6th through 8th grades.
