Gordy's Steak House

Gordy's Steak House was established in November of 2005, in the building formerly known as The Shore Club in Willernie, MN. Willernie is a charming postage-stamp size town next to White Bear Lake. The Shore Club had been doing business since the 1950's, in the time when Mahtomedi and Willernie were resort communities and people traveled by street-car from St. Paul to the White Bear Lake areas. Now, more than a half century later, our mission at Gordy's is to continue the tradition of the small town supper club while providing our guests with a comfortable upscale dining experience.

Gordy & Eve Johnson are the husband and wife team who own and operate Gordy's Steak House. Both growing up working in the food & hospitality industry acquiring experience though the years at such restaurants as; Chi Chi's, Ciatti's, Olive Garden, Mississippi Live, Venetian Inn, Kozlak's, Bonfire and Axel's. It only seemed natural to open a restaurant that has all the elements the two have learned and believed in over the years. With Gordy in the kitchen overseeing the high quality and freshness of our food and Eve taking care of our guests and service needs, we believe that our attention to detail and commitment to excellence makes for a constantly high standard to be proud of.

The menu has plenty of Steaks, Seafood, Pastas and other fare for lighter dining. Our nostalgic bar has a great selection of wine, large martinis and generous cocktails. Most importantly, our service friendly staff and cozy seating makes for a special night out.
