Goshen College Musical Theater Camp

Develop your SINGING, ACTING and DANCING skills for the stage!

Join us for MUSICAL THEATER CAMP June 18-24, 2017 on the Goshen College campus!

Musical Theater Camp is open to current 8th­ – 12th grade singers, actors, and dancers who are interested in developing their skills on stage.

Students will participate in workshops, master classes, private lessons, and rehearsals. All students will have the opportunity to perform in our Musical Theater Revue on the final day of camp.

JUNE 18
SUNDAY NIGHT KICK OFF
The camp will kick ­off on Sunday night with an evening of games and a pizza party. Students will tour the campus, check out rehearsal and class spaces for the week, and move into dorms.

JUNE 19-23
Each student will be cast in several scenes from musicals that will be staged, choreographed, and rehearsed during the week of camp. Campers will also each work on an individual solo that will be showcased in master classes throughout the week.

Daily schedule includes:
Morning warm-ups (yoga, acting, voice)
Intensive dance, acting, and voice classes
Voice Lessons
Masterclasses coached by professionals
Scenes rehearsals
Fun evening activities

JUNE 24
The week will culminate in a performance on Saturday afternoon that will highlight scenes and soloists. The performance will be held in Goshen College's Umble Center (time TBA) and will be free and open to the public.
