Greene Township is a township in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,356 at the 2010 census.GeographyGreene Township is a largely rural area in the southwestern part of Beaver County, Pennsylvania. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 67.9km2, of which 64.8km2 is land and 3.1km2, or 4.56%, is water.The northern border of the township is the Ohio River and Georgetown borough, which is located on the river. The township is bounded on the east by Raccoon Township and by the borough of Shippingport, on the south by Hanover Township, and on the west by Hancock County, West Virginia. The borough of Hookstown, though a separate municipality, is located within Greene Township; Hookstown provides the mailing address for the township.DemographicsAs of the census of 2000, there were 2,705 people, 947 households, and 753 families residing in the township.
