Growing Patch Playschool

A nature- and play-based childcare environment designed for preschoolers in mid-town of Fort Collins, Colorado.

We have full-time, part-time and drop-in (when available) toddler and preschool educational and play care, we do have experience with a range of special needs accommodations.

Features include:

Large sandpit with movable parts, garden spaces, greenhouse and mini-field trips to local park or playground (all walking distance).

Outdoor kitchen with porch and funky mushroom table and stool set.

Designated indoor space for children as well as large living areas.

Visiting teachers that include: Once a month farm animal visits, once or more a month of yoga and creative movement teachers, different visiting music teachers offering a range of experiences.

Typically, we have 2-6 yr old, but also have room for scheduled drop-ins or school out days. Our 1 yr old spots are full for the rest of 2017.

Prices at $55 a day for full day drop-in.
Contract charges move down from there.
Half-day starts at $30/day.

We are part of the Federal food program and so meals and snacks are included. However, families are encouraged to send a snack once a week or twice a week to share. This is incorporated into part of our community curriculum.

We do arts, crafts, literacy, music, STEM, social skills, and lots of outdoors messy play!

We are always accepting donations of clothes, toys, etc, as what we can not use--we certainly find families in need of specific help and are able to make great care packages from our families donations.
