Hall County Tax Commissioner

Darla Eden has been a CPA since 1991 with extensive experience in tax, auditing, and financial services. Darla was elected Hall County Tax Commissioner in 2012 and is utilizing her previous experience with Hall County, where she served as an outside independent auditor and Finance Director. Darla earned her BA in Accounting from North Georgia College and State University.

Darla currently serves on the board and is chair of Junior Achievement, which supports education, economic workforce development and financial literacy for young people in northeast Georgia. She also enjoys serving on the council for the Georgia Society of CPAs. She is a founding member of WomenSource, a nonprofit organization that empowers women with personal and professional resources. She is a graduate of Leadership Hall and is a member of the Georgia Association of Tax Officials and Constitutional Officers Association of Georgia. She previously served on the associate board of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, the Red Cross Board of Directors and served as treasurer for Lanier Canoe 2003, Inc.
