SCHEDULING

I am a mobile practice, coming to your home or office, it is beneficial to the dog to be in an environment that he feels comfortable in, I usually sit on the floor with the dog on a blanket or something that is comfortable, we can also do a session on the couch or a bed if that is where your dog would relax the most.

I do my best to be flexible with my schedule to accommodate pet owner’s busy lives, My normal business hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 am – 6pm with Saturday’s being options with advanced notice. Depending on how busy the day is I may have same day appointments but encourage calling a day or two ahead if possible.

ABOUT ME

Growing up I always had pets, forget about dolls and toys my love and interest was captured by animals, as I grew into adulthood that fondness and intrigue grew as well, it seemed only fitting to choose a profession that would allow me to help nurture that passion. I am a graduate of Northwest School of Animal Massage and am a certified and insured small animal practitioner, as well as a member of the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork.

I live in a small rural town outside of Salem, Oregon with my husband and children, and although my children are getting older they still keep me busy. Our family extends to our “fur and feathered family” as well, we have four horses, 2 goats, a few sweet little hens, one rooster, 4 cats and 4 dogs. My newest addition is “Winter” he is a Golden Retriever who is all heart! We have attended classes through a program that trains Assistance and Therapy dogs since he was just 3 months old and together we have a fantastic side job working with people with developmental disabilities, even at his young age Winter seems to have a understanding of how truly amazing the people we work with are.

For most of us our dogs are a valued member of our families, in so many ways they enhance our physical and emotional health, it is my goal to improve the quality of life for them and in return their owners by helping them cultivate a healthy relationship and also teaching those who would like to learn more about massage.
