Hannosuke Tendon

Hannosuke Kaneko who served as a chairman of Japanese chef Association left a famous saying “TEN-DON (Tempura Bowl) is the very delicacy that represents Tokyo.” He was also a person of influence for the Japanese Tempura Association and composed a recipe book containing his secret Tendon recipe. Hannosuke’s grandson, Shinya Kaneko, inherited his grandfather’s philosophy and flavor and revived his legacy in the center of Tokyo, Nihonbashi.
