Happy Birthday Cha Cha Cha

Happy Birthday Cha Cha Cha was born out of the desire to bring some much needed joy to the lives of at-risk children. There are so many wonderful organizations that serve to make their holiday season a bit brighter, but I was not aware of any organization that focused on birthdays.
So I started one.
We work with teachers to identify and adopt elementary school classrooms that have underserved children that could use a little extra support. On the child's birthday he or she will receive a new toy, a book and a 'Cha Cha Cha Bag' full of goodies such as new socks, new underwear, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and a few grocery items including fresh fruit.

We've only just begun and already the support has been wonderful. We have identified our first six classrooms and we are on track to be able to support two more this year. My goal for the 17/18 school year is 12 classrooms.
