Harmony Hall

Harmony Hall, located in Terre Haute's Historic 12 Points, was originally the neighborhood movie house Garfield Theatre. In the 70's, it was bought by Tudor Amusements and turned into an adult movie theater. After this, it was briefly a $1 budget movie house. It was closed for about three years before it was bought by the Banks of the Wabash (BOW) Chorus. They spent many hours and much money replacing furnaces, air conditioners, lighting, building a stage, refurbishing seats, painting, etc. Since being purchased by the BOW Chorus, Harmony Hall has hosted many shows ranging from big band to rock concerts. We have also hosted birthday parties, business meetings, and church services. Today, Harmony Hall is approximately 150' by 50' with heating, air conditioning, stage lighting, a sound system, and dressing rooms behind the stage, and the seating capacity is about 350.
