Our agency has remained family owned and Operated since it’s 1931 beginning in Berlemont, MI. The business was started by Harold J. Fox Sr. in his small town grocery store. The business was purchased by Harold J. Fox Jr. in 1967, and moved to his home in Bloomingdale. Harold Fox Jr. in 1975 purchased 2 office buildings on Spring St. in Bloomingdale. Harold J. Fox Insurance agency was set up at 112 E. Spring St, and the neighboring building was rented to the United States Post office until 1988, and was later sold to Page One Studio. The business was purchased by Harold’s son Daniel J. Fox in 1987. Dan still owns and operates the business with his oldest son Ryan D. Fox. Although we have had a few changes over the years, and possibly more to come. We have always maintained a great relationship with our communities, and most importantly the people who live in them.
