As a Marriage and Family counselor, I am passionately focused on helping individuals, couples and families successfully move through whatever dynamic season of challenge they might be experiencing. Counseling from a Christian world view is a process in which the counselor and the client walk together towards the full and meaningful life that God offers. In tandem with my work at Elbow Tree, I also actively serve as the Director of Counseling and Care for The SoulCare Project, a ministry dedicated to providing intentional space for rest and communion with Christ.
My primary goals for therapy are 1) to "reframe" uncomfortable, distressing or perplexing situations into opportunities for healing, growth, change and restoration 2) give some real, doable, practical steps to take and 3) orient people towards a much larger story that is unfolding alongside their own.
I also offer online counseling using a secure state of the art HIPAA compliant video conferencing platform called WeCounsel. You can request to meet online and face to face. Many clients enjoy utilizing both from time to time. http://goo.gl/pNNXVx
