Heritage Center

Heritage Park manages to capture a real sense of community while featuring fun and exciting things the whole family can enjoy. This beautiful park has a baseball diamond, soccer field, playground, walking trails and a concession stand. The Heritage Community Center is located here and can be rented out for special events. Heritage Trust is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation formed in July 2000 and is dedicated to enhancing natural resources and the distinctive character of the surrounding communities. Our purpose is to encourage the appreciation of, and learning about, our environmental, historical and cultural heritage and to enhance a sense of community identity. The Heritage Trust is solely funded by donations, grants, fund raising events and volunteer efforts and is not funded by tax dollars. All fees collected from Heritage Trusted programs and events go towards future programs. Heritage Trust proudly sponsors many events and programs throughout the year including adult programs, children's programs like Summer Adventures Camp, Movies in the Moonlight and the Halloween Fun event as well as many popular family events like the Christmas Tree and Hanukah Menorah Lightings, Breakfast with Santa, Summer Fest, Fall into Fun Carnival and the Avenue of America flag raising ceremony.
