HERO YouthBuild

Recruiting has begun for the life-transforming YouthBuild program in Hale County. This program is for people ages 16-24 who are looking to create positive change in themselves and their communities through job training, building houses for people who otherwise would not be able to have a home, and working toward earning their GED. This YouthBuild is the only program of its kind currently being implemented in the state of Alabama, and is offered through Hale Empowerment and Revitalization Organization, Inc. Applications are currently being accepted through October 15th; the program is set to start November 3, 2014.
