In the wild, Hippos do not have any natural predators, nothing hunts them, they are not prey. Nature did not design them to move backwards or side to side. They have complete tunnel vision, never being distracted.
When a Hippo wants water or food or needs something primal…they will see it in the distance, SET A GOAL, and begin to move. They will not stop or slow their pace until they’ve arrived at their goal.
