We are part of the Historic Harmar Bridge Co., dedicated to the restoration and maintenance of the former B&O RR swing bridge and its surrounding area, which includes historic post office, railroad equipment, and various shops offering everything from: antiques; a toy store housed in railroad passenger cars; country/folk art; and a Coca-cola museum and soda fountain, to several GREAT restaurants/taverns, a professional tailoring and alteration shop, and more.
Current musuem exhibits include railroad artifacts from China, Cuba, South Africa, the former Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, and the United States. A rotating collection now highlights riverboat photographs by local photographers.
Admission is free. Hours are currently 10am-4pm Saturday and Sunday, and by appointment. On-street parking available. Located in the historic and scenic Harmar district of Marietta, Ohio, near Interstate 77 and Ohio Route 7.
