The Hobson family has farmed on the same land for four generations. What started as a means of survival during the great depression turned into a passion and love for growing produce. This land has provided for many families and produced some of the best produce in the state. The leading lady of our operation “Granny” has many secrets up her sleeves when it comes to growing produce. She is known locally for producing the “Hobson tomato”. It has been said to be the best tomato that you will ever put in your mouth. Our family takes great pride in producing foods that not only our family enjoys but also for others to enjoy. In todays time many people are hesitant about buying produce without knowing where it comes from. Our fresh produce provides a way for you, the customer, to know first hand where your food comes from and what you’re eating. We use age-old techniques of growing that have been passed down from generation to generation. We are excited to share our delicious and fresh produce from our garden to your table.
