Holisthenics is the process of enhancing personal performance through a comprehensive strategy of balanced self development. The Institute believes that only through a program of complete Mind-Body-Spirit Integration can the individual achieve their optimum potential. Most other programs offer overly specialized information that fails to take into account the complex interconnected network of systems that make up the complete human being. All of these microsystems must be developed in tandem in order to bring about optimum health & well being. Other wellness programs fall short of the complete balanced Process which underlies the Holisthenics philosophy.

Unlike many other fitness & nutrition regimens, Holisthenics is not a spectator sport. The Process requires active participation. Consistent action is the only method that can bring about positive results. Whereas most programs overly concentrate on quantifying gradual progress in highly specialized activities, the Institute focuses on achieving qualitative results that are not so easily measured by conventional standards. Mere passive reception of information is not enough to accomplish fully balanced whole system integration. Members are challenged with action tasks that habituate them toward a natural harmonic lifestyle. Only by uniting education with action can lasting results be achieved.

The Holisthenics curriculum provides a complete fully balanced Process of continual self improvement. A series of Modules have been designed to guide the participant in a step by step Process toward their ultimate objective of balanced well being. The Course is divided into 13 Modules that take the student through each of the primary elements necessary to complete the Process. The Modules outline the Holisthenics philosophy of progressing steadily through each phase of complete mental, physical, and spiritual Integration.

Each Module is divided into two sections. The first section educates the participant on the particular subject presented in that Module. This section explains the science behind that Level and the reasons why that step is necessary on the pathway to fully balanced self development.The second section challenges the participant to a specific action task that utilizes the information detailed in the previous section. This allows the information to be fully assimilated by the member to be used in their everyday life.
