HOPE Court Probation

Saline County HOPE Court is based on the HOPE Court model which began in Honolulu, Hawaii in 2004 by Judge Steven Alm. HOPE Court probation is aimed at supervising high risk probationers through increased drug testing, reporting, and monitoring, followed by swift and certain sanctions for violations.

Saline County HOPE Court provides necessary resources to probationers to successfully complete probation. Resources available to probationers include drug/alcohol treatment, employment assistance, mental health counseling, and a variety of other necessary life skills.

Saline County HOPE Court probationers are court ordered to abide by all Saline County probation conditions.

Saline County HOPE Court is held in 2nd Division Circuit Court by Judge Gary Arnold and in 4th Division Circuit Court by Judge Robert Herzfeld on Tuesday and Thursday.
