Horseshoe Bend National Military Park

Horseshoe Bend National Military Park tells the story of the Upper Creek people of Alabama, and the conflict with American settlers that resulted in the Battle of Horseshoe Bend on March 27, 1814.

Description
The park is located on Alabama Route 49, 12 miles north of Dadeville, and 18 miles north of Alexander City. The park features a visitor center open daily (except for major holidays), a 3-mile loop road through the battlefield and a 2.8-mile nature trail.
