Hospice of Salmon Valley

Salmon Valley Hospice was founded in 1982 by Marie Stricklan, Elsie Moore and Florence Matthews. We are the only non-profit hospice in Salmon Valley and we have proudly been serving it's residents for over 35 years! The hospice philosophy is to affirm life, assisting in maintaining a person's quality of life when the quality can no longer be assured. Care is provided free of charge and funded by volunteers, grants, donations and memorials from private or business individuals. We are not Medicare or Medicaid affiliated and are one of the very few hospices that don't rely on Medicare or the federal government for funding.
