Welcome to Hyde Street Studios, where the warm sound of high end vintage audio meets the modern sound of the Digital Age. Our goal is to offer artists the opportunity to get the sound they're looking for at a price they can afford. And judging by our track record, there is no better deal from a truly professional recording studio anywhere in the Bay Area.

Studio A is our flagship studio with incredible gear and recording capabilities. It houses one of the cleanest, warmest sounding consoles ever made. We brought this vintage Neve 8038 over from England and modified it for our needs. It’s now an entirely discrete, Class A console loaded with some of the nicest Mic Pre's and EQ's that you’ll ever hear.
With two isolation rooms and tie lines between, Studio A is a popular option for recording a full band all at once in the same room. The iconic white Yamaha grand piano and Hammond B3 organ with Leslie Speaker add the finishing touches to this world-class room.

Studio D combines the ease and portability of modern recording facilities with the characteristic sound of a historic live room. Our D-Command interface seamlessly integrates with our ProTools HD system for quick and easy recording, editing, and mixing. When combined with our classic Neve 1272 Pre-amps and outstanding mic collection, you have the best of both worlds. The versatile live room in Studio D features a vibrant stone wall with optional pull-out isolation panels. If you are interested in mobile recording, our Studio D system can be transported to any desired location.
