Iowa Central William G. Smith Simulation Center

The William G. Smith Simulation Center is a 10,000 square foot medical training facility operated by Iowa Central Community College.
Within the Simulation Center you will find the following Sim Labs:

~ Medical-Surgical
~ CCU
~ Emergency Department
~ Ambulance
~ Apartment
Each room is audio video recorded for the student to review after the scenario with their instructors.

In addition to the Sim Labs, we have two classrooms available that can accommodate 16 students per room.

The simulated training utilizes nine life-size high-fidelity mannequins programmed to replicate a comprehensive array of different patient conditions ranging from newborns to geriatrics.
