This is the official page of IUPD-Bloomington. IUPD-Bloomington employs 41 full time officers and 48 part time officers who provide 24-hour uniformed police service to more than 40,000 students, and to faculty, staff, and visitors to campus.



This page was created to help IUPD Bloomington better interact with and share information with the IU community. IUPD encourages two way communication; however, please be respectful when using this page. Several examples of conduct that will not be tolerated are:

- Insensitive comments;
- Discriminatory or harassing conduct;
- Off topic or that link to material that is off topic;
- Commercial promotions or spam;

IUPD-Bloomington is also home to the Indiana University Police Academy where IU students can become fully certified police officers in the state of Indiana while achieving their IU degree.
