"I've always felt this was in my blood," says Ivy, whose family has been in the development and rental property business since the 1930's. "Inspiration just comes to me. I look at a house, at the structure, at the bones and I just know which way to go. I think the houses talk to me. Foreclosure properties are especially close to my heart. They look so sad and then all of a sudden we breathe some life back into the house."

"I'm a very spiritual person grounded in my faith and I can't in good conscious not do something right. We have to live our lives with a little humility and grace and we have to give back. I would rather be remembered for my contributions to others than for anything else."
