Jacobs Chapel Colemantown Foundation, Inc. (JCCF), is a non-profit corporation formed under the laws of the State of New Jersey in 2008.
JCCF was organized for the following purposes:
• To preserve, study, and interpret the history of Jacob’s Chapel A.M.E. Church.
• To restore the church’s historic buildings, cemetery, and artifacts.
• To disseminate information about the church’s illustrious past, primarily through educational tours and historical reenactments.
The corporation will restore both buildings—the Colemantown Meeting House (circa 1813) and Jacob's Chapel (1867)—to their period; research and restore tombstones and catalog burial records; and purchase land on which to build a community center, education building and administrative complex with conference rooms, offices, a bookstore, and library.
